Mary M (Davis) Nethercutt, 73, of Logansport passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Surviving her is a daughter Susannah Nethercutt from Muncie, Indiana.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel in Logansport, Indiana.


Richard J "Dick" Delp

Richard J "Dick" Delp. 68, Logansport, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019, in his residence.

Born in Logansport on January 16, 1951, he was the son of William Jackson ‘Jack’ and Jean E. Rose Delp. 

On January 16, 1986, in Logansport, he was married to Beverly J. Sheridan, who survives. 

Before retiring from Martin’s Supermarket, Dick had been employed at General Tire for fifteen years and Alpha Industries for ten years. 

Dick enjoyed camping at their trailer in Buffalo, fishing, and canoeing the river, and was a Colts fan. 

Also surviving are sons, Mike Delp, Logansport and Jack Delp, Georgetown; grandchildren, Jaydon and Jarod. 
Preceding Dick in death were three brothers, Jack, Kenny, and Bob Delp. 

Visitation will be 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Kroeger Funeral Home.  The service will follow, with Fr. John Ford, CSC officiating, also at the funeral home.

Gary Steven "Steve" Easley

Gary Steven “Steve” Easley, 71, of Logansport, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, in his residence, surrounded by his family. 
Born on August 9, 1951, in Logansport, Steve is the son of the late Hank Easley and Jacqueline (Haynes) Smith. 

On July 8, 1978, in Lucerne, IN, Steve married Pamela A. Morphet who preceded in death on April 16, 2018. 

Steve was a 1969 graduate of Logansport High School, he also graduated from Purdue University. He was an operations manager at Federal Mogul. Steve had also worked for Champion Spark Plug, the Cass County Highway Dept., and the Dilling Group. 

Steve loved his family, especially watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid Indiana University Basketball fan, and Notre Dame Football fan.

Surviving Steve are his two sons, Nathan (Melissa) Easley of Franklin, TN; Maj. Scott (Kelly) Easley USMC, of Lithia, FL; seven grandchildren, Madeline, Mackenzie, Michael, Brayden, and Maverick Easley; Quinn and Max Candela; four siblings, Barbara Jo (Virgil) Parker of Logansport; Beverly (Richard) Babb of Logansport; Joyce Sandberg of Logansport; Kenny (Rhonda) Smith of Noblesville; three half siblings, Denise Gumm; Mark Easley; and Cindy DeVault; several nieces and nephews, friends and family. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Reinholt. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Strite officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023, also in the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Semper Fi Fund, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Cass County Special Olympics or to your favorite charity, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.




Kathy Floyd

Kathleen E. Ingmire, 66 of Logansport, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.
Born on December 29, 1950 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Alvin) Mohler and Ed (Sue)Floyd. On November 28, 1969, she married Earl L. Ingmire who survives.

Kathy graduated from Logansport High School in 1969. 

She and Earl opened The Garden House in 1974. She worked as a beautician at Designer Joes for 15 years, and then worked for The Gallery for 20 years.

Kathy could brighten up a room with her contagious laugh and smile. She was the happiest when she was with her family and friends. Kathy also enjoyed remodeling and decorating homes, and was so good at it! She definitely had a green thumb, as she was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers.

Earl and his family would like to extend a “thank you” to all of Memorial Hospitals ER Staff for your care a support.

Surviving along with her husband Earl is a daughter, Christy (Sean) Moore; a son, Scott Ingmire, both of Logansport; grandchildren, Riley, Madison, and Brody; sisters, Sharon (Fred) Perez; Cindy (Dave) Goodin; brother, Eddie Floyd; half-brother, Mike Floyd; half-sister, Becky Floyd; step sister, Karen Mohler; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Molly.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Floyd; and a step brother, William Mohler.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Paula Niebert officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Saturday February 4, also in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to Logan’s Landing (P.O. Box 473 Logansport, IN 46947) where there will be a memorial fund set up in Kathy’s name.



Frank Foster

Frank J. Foster, 72, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones.




 Born on August 5, 1951 in Logansport, Indiana he was the son of Elmer and Rachel (Battering) Foster Sr.

 

He attended Logansport High School graduating with the class of 1969.

 

After graduating Frankie proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 -1976 as a weapons mechanic and was honorably discharged obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

 

Frank worked for McMahon - O’Connor Construction Company in Rochester until 1994. He then went to work with IT Equipment until his retirement in 2013. He enjoyed golfing and wood cutting.

 

Frank attended 1st Christian Church in Rochester and was a life member of the Rochester Veterans of Foreign War Post# 1343, Plymouth Am. Legion Post #27 and a Past Commander of Argos American Legion Post# 68

 

 

 

He is survived by his daughter Rachel Foster, son Damon (Lynn) Foster, life partner Cathy Eley of Argos; granddaughters: Jameson, Kaya, Brayden, Riley, Schuyler Foster and Josephine Chesak; brothers: Jim (Marge) Foster and Elmer (Soundra) Foster Jr.

 

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Josephine and Jane as well as his brother Robert.

 

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2-6 pm at the Plymouth American Legion Post #27, 1040 E Jefferson St. Plymouth, IN 46563. Military honors will be rendered at 3 pm by the Plymouth American Legion and the U.S. Air Force.
